Jianne Merijo E. Mengote is a dedicated young professional specializing in Information Technology, with a particular focus on Information Management. She began her educational journey at Don Enrique Navarro Memorial School, where she completed her elementary education. She continued her secondary studies at Siargao National Science High School, excelling in both junior and senior high school. Currently, she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, majoring in Information Management, at Central Mindanao University.

In the Swell Wave Monitoring Project, Jianne serves as a System Developer, leveraging her extensive technical expertise to contribute to the project’s success. Her responsibilities include designing and implementing the backend logic of the system to ensure efficient and scalable data processing. She played a pivotal role in integrating the Swell Wave API, providing accurate and real-time wave data. Jianne also took charge of deploying the web application to a hosting platform, ensuring accessibility across web, mobile, and desktop devices. Her efforts in connecting the front and backend components have resulted in seamless functionality and enhanced system performance.

Jianne’s technical skill set includes proficiency in backend development using Flask and frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Figma. She is experienced in database management, working with tools like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. Her expertise extends to artificial intelligence and machine learning, including Natural Language Processing (NLP), Transformers Models such as BERT, mT5, and RoBERTa, as well as machine learning and deep learning architectures. Additionally, Jianne has experience in OpenAI model integration, further showcasing her versatility and adaptability in advanced technological domains.

With her strong technical foundation and a results-oriented approach, Jianne has made significant contributions to the Swell Wave Monitoring Project. Her role in ensuring accurate real-time data integration, seamless system functionality, and multi-platform accessibility highlights her dedication and innovation.
